Zultys Announces MXmeeting Release 4.2 with Four-Way Video Conferencing and a Number of Key New Features

Zultys Announces MXmeeting 4.2 With Multiparty Video Conferencing Feature for Web Collaboration

Solution Adds Four-Way Webcam Video Conferencing, Enhanced Outlook Integration and More

Zultys Inc., the “Smarter Communications” company and award-winning IP telephony solution provider for SMB and enterprises, today announced MXmeeting™ Release 4.2, adding four-way video conferencing and a number of key new features to an already very successful next-generation collaboration solution that add to the user experience and make it an even more compelling alternative to travel. In addition to a multipoint webcam capability that supports up to 4 concurrent webcams in one meeting room, MXmeeting 4.2 adds enhanced Outlook integration, improved speed, MXmeeting appliance clustering for extra capacity and redundancy, Webinar polling, superior active directory integration, access to a 250 port Voice conference solution (in the US and Canada) and more.

MXmeeting combines video, voice, desktop web interaction, instant messaging, virtual meeting rooms, online presentations, file sharing, training and demonstration tools into a single system that can help companies slash travel costs and respond more quickly to customer needs — all with NO monthly recurring fees of any kind. MXmeeting™ delivers unmatched return on investment by equipping businesses with the collaboration tools they need today.

“MXmeeting continues to lead the market with features that allow companies to fully connect their workforce through interactive collaboration tools that boost productivity, slash travel costs and eliminate the need for expensive hosted systems,” said Steve Francis, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of Zultys.

“Since we started using MXmeeting we’ve seen a dramatic reduction in travel and training costs, and a huge boost in productivity and responsiveness,” said Heidi Maschmann, VP Information Systems/Inventory, ELITeXPO, the premier provider of critical transportation for specialized event marketing materials. “Up until the deployment of MXmeeting all training was completed at our HQ with all of the associated costs and downtime that is driven by physical employee travel. The operational costs as well as the overhead for my training rollout dropped by over 90% and we’ve seen an increase in our on-time delivery rate. Not only that, our employee morale went up and our customers loved the result. Thank you Zultys and MXmeeting!”

MXmeeting builds on Zultys’ premier IP PBX portfolio which already supports integrated call handling, voice mail, built-in gateways, presence server, and instant messaging server for up to 10,000 users across 128 locations. MXmeeting can be easily implemented by simply adding an appliance to an existing MX250 or MX30 offering. The systems may be clustered for additional capacity and redundancy. It may also be deployed standalone for companies looking to add web conferencing to an existing phone system. The solution scales as you grow:

  • MXmeeting M200: two meeting rooms with 10 concurrent users
  • MXmeeting M500: 20 meeting rooms with 100 concurrent users
  • MXmeeting M800: 50 meeting rooms with 200 concurrent users
  • MXmeeting M1000: 200 meeting rooms with 2000 concurrent users

Rapadev Releases iPay POS Credit Card Terminal for iPhone

iPay POS Offers Multi-Gateway Card Swiping for iPhone

Rapadev, LLC, the development company behind ProcessAway, has released iPay POS Credit Card Terminal for iPhone.

“Since we released our innovative solution back in 2008, there has been a proliferation of credit card apps in the AppStore,” states Randy Palermo, Member of Rapadev, LLC and lead developer. “While they all essentially do the same thing, they have restrictions or shortcomings to their operation. Most competing Apps require you to use a specific merchant account provider or gateway, or they don’t have a card reader available, or they are not PA-DSS certified. We developed iPay POS to address these issues.”

The software performs captures, authorizations, voids and credits. It utilizes multiple database tables for recording transactions and repeating sale information, such as order, shipping, and customer info. There is also an option to add a gratuity to the final charge.

iPay POS supports many gateways, including gateways outside the United States. A partial listing of supported gateways include: Authorize.net, NMI, Ogone, PayLeap, PayJunction, PayPal Payments Pro, RedFin, Skipjack and PayTrace. Gateways that wish to be included in iPay POS should submit their API documentation to Rapadev for inclusion in a future update.

Rapadev has worked closely with ITSCO to have iPay POS be the first Apple sanctioned application for the iMag Magnetic Swipe Reader for iPhone. The iMag is a secure MSR capable of reading up to three tracks with a bi-directional swipe. The reader is available for ordering directly within iPay POS or at http://cardreaderstore.com.

iPay POS has been coded to strict PCI standards and has undergone PA-DSS testing. The software has passed PA-DSS certification. “It was important for us to make the investment in PA-DSS certification,” continues Mr. Palermo. “If a merchant uses a non PA-DSS certified application, that merchant is opening him/herself up to possible liability issues if any sort of fraud or other security breach happens, even if the merchant or application had nothing to do with the incident. When a customer looking for someone to place blame on asks a merchant using iPay POS if their card was processed on a certified secure application, that merchant can confidently say yes.”

iPay POS Credit Card Terminal is available in the Apple AppStore as a free download. The application comes with the ability to perform unlimited test transactions and 10 live transactions. Additional transactions may be acquired with an In-App purchase. Further information, video, screenshots, and FAQs can be found at http://www.ipaypos.com.

Infrax Systems Announces Availability of Encrypted, Secure Communications Device Based on Google’s Android platform for Mobile Voice and Data Applications

Infrax (IFXY) Announces Availability of Advanced Secure Mobile Device Based on Android Platform

Unbreakable Encryption Technology Secures Corporate & Personal Communications Utilizing Android Based Cell Phones

Infrax Systems, Inc. (OTC.BB:IFXY – News), a global provider of unified Smart Grid-related products and services for the Energy and Utility industries, today announced the availability of an encrypted, secure communications device based on Google’s Android platform for mobile voice and data applications. This secure phone is currently available on the HTC Desire phones and adds to the portfolio of security related products for Smart Grid applications previously announced by Infrax.

In the modern business environment people regularly discuss and transmit sensitive and confidential information on cell phones. This poses great threats to business secrecy, executive safety, financial transaction confidentiality or even homeland security. Interception technology is cheap and widely accessible and can be easily purchased over the Internet. Those individuals intent on industrial and corporate espionage possess the tools needed to attack the confidentiality of mobile voice and data communication.

The Android based secure phone will provide users with the ability to securely manage voice calls and data. The secure phone uses a peer-to-peer connection for communicating between devices, thereby eliminating a central network hub for potential eavesdroppers to aim a single point of attack. The device provides secure VoIP mobile communications, provided both corresponding parties use our encryption enabled devices. Calls are handled via the Internet using Wi-Fi, HSDPA (3.5G), UMTS (3G) or EDGE (2.5G) networks. The advantages of VoIP communication over GSM are the superior voice quality and cost efficient calls due to the carrier billing data traffic instead of voice traffic.

Currently, the secure phone is available in three configurations; Government, Industrial and Business. Applications designed for Utilities will be available in the near future. Additionally, Infrax can provide customized applications to support remote monitoring of industrial and business processes.

About Infrax Systems

Infrax Systems offers a series of interrelated operational management, communications, and grid security related products and services known as Secure Intelligent Energy Platform (SIEP). Our products enable a comprehensive and unified solution for communications and applications management of the Smart Grid. SIEP™ incorporates a wide array of communications, security, device and data management tools for Smart Grid applications such as advanced metering solutions and grid optimization. SIEP platform creates a unified solution to securely manage Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and distribution automation. Infrax’s secure smart grid platform incorporates a communications transport and management system, device and data security management, and ultimately secures intelligent endpoint devices (SIED). The secure management of the “last mile” backhaul will be necessary for utilities to implement Smart Grid applications including AMI, real-time pricing, Demand Side Management (DSM), Distribution Monitoring and Automation. When combined, these applications can offer economic, operational and environmental benefits for utilities, and ultimately the utility’s customers.
