PCTEL’s MIMO Mobile Antennas for Broadband Mobility Networks at 4G World USA Event
PCTEL, Inc. (NASDAQ: PCTI), a leader in antenna and scanning receiver solutions, will showcase its MIMO mobile broadband wireless antennas at the 4G World USA event this week. The two low-profile vehicular antennas support data communications for public safety, commercial delivery, mass transit, railroad, utilities and enterprise applications. The antennas support networks operating at 3G/4G and Wi-Fi broadband wireless frequencies.
One model covers 2.3-2.8GHz and 4.9-5.9GHz frequencies in a three-port dual band design. The other provides ultra-wideband coverage of 4G LTE frequencies in a single element. It also includes two dual-band MIMO elements for Wi-Fi support, and a high rejection GPS L1 module for fleet management and asset tracking applications. Both carrier grade antennas utilize a heavy duty metallic base platform with a customized over-molded gasket for superior vibration resistance and water ingress protection.
