TerraWave Solutions Introduces the New Micro MIMO Antenna – The Most Compact of Its Kind
Today at Cisco Live! 2011, Cisco’s annual IT and communications conference, TerraWave Solutions®, a Ventev Innovations® brand, announces its latest product release – the new version of its MIMO ceiling-mount omnidirectional antenna. As the most compact six-pack MIMO antenna available, the new Micro MIMO antenna has the same industry-leading specifications as the previous model, but the antenna body, or radome, is approximately one inch flatter – making it suitable for easy placement, while maintaining the aesthetics of any indoor environment setting.
The TerraWave Solutions MIMO ceiling-mount omnidirectional antenna includes one durable fiberglass enclosure that houses six integrated (2.4/5 GHz, 2.5/4 dBi) antennas and is available in two versions – one with RPTNC connectors and one with RPSMA connectors. With dual-band leads, each cable supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies – making it an ideal antenna to support applications in the IEEE 802.11n wireless protocol.
