Singapore Telecommunications Selects and Deploys Amdocs for its exPress Portal
SingTel portal enables personalized, multi-media services over high-speed fiber network, allowing subscribers to manage their digital lives from one central location
Amdocs (NYSE:DOX – News), the leading provider of customer experience systems, today announced that Singapore Telecommunications Led (SingTel) has deployed Amdocs software for its new exPress Portal. The portal provides a personalized gateway to SingTel’s innovative exStream fiber experience, which offers ultra-fast speeds of up to 200Mbps to broadband subscribers in Singapore. SingTel is Asia’s leading communications group.
The exPress Portal is based on Amdocs Interactive’s Personalized Portal and provides subscribers with direct access to all their email accounts and social networks, enabling them to update their status or upload a photo to multiple social networks at once. The portal also stores and shares subscribers’ photos, offers video chat and access to SingTel’s multi-media video, music and other assets. Amdocs deployed the portal’s software system, designed its universal interface and integrated it with external third parties.
