IDS Releases Medical Documentation Solution for iPad
IDS Launches iPad™ Medical Documentation Apps
Easy to Use, Highly-Efficient Patient Documentation Solutions Designed for Apple Tablet Device
Integrated Document Solutions (IDS), a pioneer in delivering healthcare applications via cloud computing, today released two point-of-care applications for the iPad to provide physicians and medical staff greater efficiency and productivity in their clinical encounters. The new solutions allow care providers to convert their paper forms to electronic, tablet based documents, for easier and faster data entry, review and authentication of patient encounters.
Building on the company’s recently introduced line of smartphone applications, the new apps allow care givers to take advantage of iPad’s portability and rich graphics to perform routine tasks with amazing speed and accuracy, and minimal change of behavior.
The new iPad apps include:
AbbaDox eForms, an electronic patient encounter tool that mimics standard paper-based patient forms. Providers enter data into secured forms that are live on the Web using the iPad’s touch-screen interface including checkboxes, text fields and dropdowns. Data from eForms can be used to immediately produce patient analytic reports and collaborate with referring doctors via a secure portal.
Mobile AbbaDox for iPad, a workflow and eSignature application that enables physicians to review and sign reports, listen to original voice dictations, and scroll through various encounter workflow bins.
“Our iPad apps give the sensation of using paper electronically,” said Yaniv Dagan, CEO of Integrated Document Solutions. “This incredible device makes it possible for healthcare organizations to streamline existing processes and make important strides towards EHR readiness. By converting paper-based processes into digital ones, providers will be able to complete point-of-care documentation faster, more efficiently and with greater long-term payoffs.”
This latest platform expands IDS’ portfolio of mobile solutions which includes apps for the iPhone®, BlackBerry®, Android® and Windows Mobile® devices. For more information on IDS’ Mobile Applications, visit www.idssite.com/mobile.
