Key Digital Systems Announces the KD-BBTX and KD-BBRX HDMI Baluns
Key Digital® Introduces the KD-BBTX/RX CAT5/5e/6 Smart Baluns (HDMI®, Audio, Bi-Directional RS-232 & IR) under the FatCAT Series
Key Digital Systems, Inc, the Experts in Digital Video Technology and Solutions, are pleased to announce the KD-BBTX and KD-BBRX HDMI baluns. These new additions to the FatCAT Series incorporate Key Digital’s exclusive Digital Path™ technology, which prevent EDID miscommunication, resulting in flawless HDMI/DVI signal transfers from source to display, for full HD performance capability.
These Baluns are capable of transmitting and/or receiving SD or HD resolutions with Analog or Digital Coaxial Audio and Bi-directional RS-232 and IR over one CAT5/5e/6 cable. Supported video resolutions up to 1080p/60 to 150 feet and 1080p/24, 1080i and 720p signals up to 280 feet are possible.
KD-BBTX/RX offer full support for HDMI® with HDCP, 12-Bit Deep Color, lossless digital audio formats such as Dolby® TrueHD and Dolby® Digital Plus and DTS™-HD Master Audio. Both products also support new HDMI® feature: 3D – capability to pass 3D stereoscopic signal formats.
Other Key Benefits of the new Fat Cat Series baluns is that they are compatible with CAT5e and CAT6 cables and can be optimized for standard UTP cables. Another exclusive technology developed by Key Digital is the Audio Video Equalizer which automatically and continuously performs measurements of CAT5/6 link frequency response as well as adaptive video response equalization for maximum video performance.
The new KD-BBTX/RX are currently shipping at an MSRP of $750 each.
