With the introduction of Silverlight, video publishers now have the option to publish in Adobe Flash, Silverlight and/or HTML 5.
Microsoft has invested heavily in making Silverlight a security-enhanced way to deliver high quality video to the three screens – broadcast, broadband and mobile. In certain European and Asian markets, Silverlight has the same penetration as Flash.
