CXR Larus, a leading manufacturer of advanced Next Generation timing and network access solutions today announced the newest addition to its expansive lineup of synchronization and timing products, the StarSync 6800-UTReK (Universal Timing Restoration Kit). The StarSync 6800-UTReK provides a low cost method for rapid restoration of network synchronization systems by providing a Stratum 1 GPS reference with precise holdover driving T1, E1, 10/5/1 MHz sine-wave, or xPPS links for legacy network timing equipment. The StarSync 6800-UTReK can provide the required signals to restore synchronization to any clock which has external timing reference capability, including legacy LORAN-C or BITS clocking systems, regardless of brand.
The StarSync 6800-UTReK can also be used for portable synchronization for real-time, live streaming of IPTV, IP radio, and Voice over IP (VoIP), and can also provide a signal reference to troubleshoot existing BITS systems, or supplant clocking from timing circuits with a questionable pedigree.
