SAN DIEGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–NoteVault, which provides voice-based mobile reporting solutions for the construction industry, today announced the availability of its new iPhone app in the Apple iTunes store. The iPhone application greatly extends the capabilities of its core voice note and photo reporting service currently available on any make or model of mobile phone. NoteVault greatly simplifies the hassle and inconvenience of reporting construction observations and events. In the process, the service adds efficiency, detail and helps contractors better protect themselves against potential unresolved disputes and lawsuits.
With the addition of their new application for the iPhone, users are able to take advantage of the easy to use interface to capture and send voice notes, indexed photos, and their location at time of record. NoteVault GPS coordinates can be used in (BIM) Building Information Modeling systems to locate where notes originated on a project. Users can record multiple notes even when out of coverage since the application stores all the information locally until the iPhone is back on either WIFI or the cellular network. All queued notes are then automatically uploaded and quickly transcribed.
