Zayo Bandwidth Deploys TDM and Ethernet Services to 45 Wireless Tower Sites in Spokane, Washington and Coeur d’Alene

Zayo Bandwidth Expands Fiber-to-Tower Wireless Network Offering in Spokane and Coeur d’Alene

Zayo Bandwidth, a provider of bandwidth infrastructure solutions for carrier, enterprise and government customers, announced today that it will deploy TDM and Ethernet services to 45 wireless tower sites in Spokane, Washington and Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

The Spokane / Coeur d’Alene deployment will enable the delivery of high-speed, Long Term Evolution (LTE) wireless network services, and also expand existing network capacity and bandwidth to accommodate increasing demand for 3G and 4G technologies. This expansion increases Zayo’s national tower footprint to more than 1,300 locations.

“As an industry leader of fiber-to-tower deployments, we are able to provide cost-effective next generation Ethernet and traditional TDM services that will scale to support increasing bandwidth requirements for evolving 3G and 4G technologies,” said Chris Murphy, Vice President, Sales and Business Development for Zayo Bandwidth. “This deployment enables our Spokane and Coeur d’Alene customers’ greater access to wireless backhaul services and is consistent with our corporate vision of delivering comprehensive bandwidth infrastructure to all of our customers.”

“Zayo’s deployment into Spokane/Coeur d’Alene highlights our ability to support the increasing bandwidth requirements of emerging technology and add value by backhauling traffic to key Northwest aggregation sites,” said Brad Cheedle, SVP Sales and Marketing.
