Samsung SDS and Oracle Develop a Native Mobile CRM Application Based on Oracle’s Siebel CRM for Use on Smartphone Devices
Samsung SDS Presents Mobile CRM Service Powered by Oracle
Samsung SDS and Oracle have co-developed a native mobile CRM application, based on Oracle’s Siebel CRM, for use on smartphone devices. Samsung SDS demonstrated various Siebel CRM features in the latest Samsung smartphone, Omnia. The first CRM application was developed for the Pharmaceutical industry. Samsung SDS will offer this application using Samsung Mobile Cloud Center (SMCC). Additionally, Samsung SDS will develop other mobile applications for various industry verticals.
Samsung SDS has also independently developed its own Push E-mail service, which seamlessly synchronizes enterprise email with mobile email client. Other mobile applications are being developed, such as Mobile Device Management, Cloud Disk, and Anti-Virus Management.
Product demonstrations are being held at the Samsung SDS booth, #435, at the South Exhibition Hall, Level 1 in the Moscone Center.
The SMCC will be pre-installed with enabling middleware solutions to interface with customers’ existing backend applications such as ERP, CRM, or PLM, etc.
With SMCC, customer benefits include:
- Immediate Mobilization of Enterprise Applications
- Minimal Setup Costs
- Complete Mobile User Experience Management
The Samsung Mobile Cloud Services will be available for service by November 2009.
