Wireless Dynamics Inc. Announces Availability of SDiDTM 1212 (s2GB) Low Frequency (LF) SD RFID Reader with embedded 2GB SD Memory
Wireless Dynamics Inc., a leading provider of RFID SD products, announces general availability of the SDiDTM 1212 (s2GB) Low Frequency (LF) RFID reader SD Card. To cope with the demand for applications which require greater memory capacity, Wireless Dynamics Inc. has increased the embedded memory of the SDiD 1212 from 512MB to 2GB. Users can store mission critical data such as RFID data, work orders, asset details, tracking location maps, for their mobile RFID applications.
“As applications grow in size, complexity, and capability, the requirement for on-board memory also increases.” said Glenn Wegner, Vice President – Sales and Marketing. “The SDiD 1212 (s512Mb) was our most popular low frequency RFID reader, and the expanded memory capacity to 2GB will enable even more creative application development.”
The SDiDTM 1212 (s2GB) is capable of interrogating most 125KHz and 134.2KHz RFID tag formats including: TI TIRIS®, NXP Hitag®, Q5, EM4100 series, and ISO 11784 / ISO 11785 half-duplex (HDX) and full-duplex (FDX). SDiDTM 1212 (s2GB) remains compatible with mobile computing devices with SD slot, SDIO interface, and Windows Mobile 6.0, Window Mobile 5.0, Windows Mobile 3.0, or Pocket PC 2002/2003 operating system. It is also compatible with applications developed by the SDiDTM 121X Software Development Kit (SDK).
